Clarion River, Ridgway to Halton

This trip is going to take place Aug 16, 17, 18th from the Ridgway Mills campground. The plan is to camp there on Friday and do a day trip from Johnsonburg down to camp. Saturday we will get our vehicle shuttle at 10am and shove off when done and spend a night on the river. Finish up on Sunday.
More info later. But, if you are thinking about camping Friday you need to get your site thru Ridgwaybourough.com. Sites 9-12 are close to the river.

I am having a little trouble getting campsite at the Ridgway Mills campground at this time. Another member also was having issues with this.
New member Brian was able to get site 12 I believe and I'm trying to get sites 10 and 11. I've contacted Lazy River canoe rental about this as they handle the campground. Contact me before trying to get your own site. With 3 sites we should be able to put 2 cars per site and 2 or 3 tents per site also. My friend Al and I will use site 10, Brian has room on site 12 and #11 is open for others.
It's only 15$ per night and I'll cover that. If we need more space we try for #9
and just to be clear, when I sign in it shows the trip continuing until Monday, it doesn't. It ends Sunday

I was finally able to get Site #12 (tent) reserved for Friday 8/16 on the campground website. Price now $20. I am happy to share it with someone since two tents/cars are allowed per site. Haven't found a way to get notification alerts from website replies, so email me if interested and I'll give you the reservation info.

What time should I plan to arrive for the day trip Friday?

I'll be going up there on Thursday afternoon to ride the trail. I planned on the Johnsonburg trip about 2 on Friday, and it looks like we should be able to do it. The weather turns bad on Saturday, and it will be a game day call on what we are doing. Not a fan of paddling in thunder storms.
I'll have a 12x12 pop up to put over one table to stay dry.

I was able to book a campsite for Thursday and Friday finally. We will have site 11 and Brian has #12. Room for more on our sites.
