I just joined in March. I was hoping to participate in some of the Spring events. Looks that will not be possible for a while. Apparently kayaks are a rare commodity. I went kayak shopping today, with no results. I put down a deposit on a Dagger, Axis 10.5 kayak which I hope will arrive sometime in May. I have some experience, having kayaked in Bermuda, Alaska and on numerous lakes. I have purchased a paddle and carrier. I will get a floatation vest when I pick up my kayak. I am looking forward to meeting like minded people when I get my boat.

Hello and welcome. I look forward to meeting you. We always have a great time on our trips. I will be paddling this Sunday with the club and have to many boats to admit to. If you want to come out this Sunday I could bring you a boat. I have your choice of a kayak or canoe? Nothing fancy but they float. Mike and Dustin, thanks for the generous offer. However when I could not get a boat, I made other plans for Sunday. I would like to take you up on your offer for the April 25th Beaver Creek event.
