Default Allegheny Notes

Kennerdell to Emlenton: This 18 mile stretch of river leads you through some of the most remote areas of the Allegheny watershed. Wildlife is abundant and with water speeds at an average of three knots per hour, one can easily utilize the camping areas located along the river and make this a two-day trip. Millcreek is located approximately 12 miles south of Kennerdell and is one of the many gorgeous camping areas along the route.

Please bring your own food. We will meet at Parkers Landing Canoe, Kayak & Outfitter at 9:30 am on Saturday the 25th Check out their website for directions. We will leave our cars there, and they will shuttle us to the putin at Kennerdell, about a 40 minute drive. Each paddler will be required to pay a shuttle fee of $10.00 per boat.
Mill Creek camp site is about 12 miles south from Kennerdall off of Rockland Station Road and is not marked on Google?s maps; go to RiverFacts.com, Mill Creek - Allegheny R. Tributary, Pennsylvania for location.

Default out of town

Sorry Jim, I will be unable to make your trip. I've been looking forward to it all season, and now it's here, and I have to be out of town. Come to think of it, I haven't made a single club trip all year. Hope to be out soon. See everybody then.
Tim.

TCT,

I'm hoping to go on the upcoming Allegheny River trip, but I can paddle on Saturday only. I'd like to try to set up a shuttle with anyone else who might be going on Saturday only for put in at Kennerdell with everyone on Jim's trip and take out at Mill Creek, about 12 miles on the river. Please let me know if anyone is interested. Phone is 330.337.7752 or send me a personal message. Thanks very much.

Count me in for the trip. but I do need to borrow a small one man tent.
I am also going to take my 17ft canoe to help haul any gear.

Also I have never did this before, what should I bring?
