Default Shenango River Watchers Spring Paddlefest..

Was wondering if anyone has participated in the past....How was it..what does water level have to be to paddle down...Thanks...

I don’t know the gage level for paddling zero on this section, but I believe Shenango River Watchers (SRW) arranges for releases from Lake Pymatuning to ensure that there is plenty of water for the run down to Greenville. On the three occasions that I paddled this stretch of the Shenango with our club during paddlefest, the lowest gage reading was 5.0 and the highest 5.38. And that was plenty of water.

The lowest I have done that section was 4.3ft
Had several scraps and bumps but made it through just fine
