K & C rsvp = yes
We've had all kind of weather for this event... from just shirts to 4" of snow. I think we've had wet and muddy, but maybe not rain. The forecast is apt to change in the next 4-5 days.
K & C are planning to be there (to keep the food safe!). We will bring rain gear. And most likely some veggy chili. (and maybe a tarp w/ropes) --KenM |

I remember many years ago Stan and friends set up a large shelter using the building as a wind and rain blocker. We had tables inside and it made for a great get together. Nothing stops the Chilly Chili Paddle.

Another Great Day on the River!
The foreboding weather forecast two days earlier never materialized. So six club members enjoyed a 3+ mile up and back paddle starting at Canoe City Metropark on the Mahoning and going as far as a half mile upstream in Eagle Creek before turning around. The sky was cloudy and the temperature was in the low 40s but really wasn't bad since there was little if any wind. The dozen folks who stayed behind around the fire left the paddlers plenty of the five or six different chilis to eat after we returned. It was another great day on the river! Here's a group shot of the paddlers.
