First Ohio Rivers Symposium
Don Rex shared the announcement below from the Ohio Division of Natural Areas and Preserves Facebook page to the TCT Facebook page.
SAVE THE DATE! We are excited to announce the first Ohio Rivers Symposium! This symposium will feature presentations on topics related to Ohio's waterways. Our plan is to have this symposium every other year (the off year of the Ohio Botanical Symposium). The symposium will be at the Ohio Department of Transportation's auditorium in Columbus Ohio on Friday, March 20. Agenda and registration information will be forthcoming in the next couple weeks. |

Registration is now open for the first Ohio Rivers Symposium! This symposium will fill up quickly so do not delay! Dan Rice, retired Chief Zoologist with the Division of Natural Areas and Preserves and co-author of “A Naturalist’s Guide to the Fishes of Ohio” will be the keynote speaker at the first Ohio Rivers Symposium. Other topics include mussels, hellbenders, dragonflies, Scioto Brush Creek and more! The symposium is being held at the Ohio Department of Transporation (ODOT) auditorium in Columbus, Ohio. Registration is $25 which includes materials and refreshments. Lunch is available at the ODOT food court next to the auditorium.
