Forum Noob
Greetings fellow canoe and kayak enthusiasts. I have been reading your forum occasionally for the last two+ years and want to thank you all for much usefull information.
I mostly use my kayak for fishing, but sometimes just for R and R. I have been on almost every public body of water within fifty miles, but there is one place I want to access that I have not yet been able to. I want to access the Mahoning River that flows from West Branch upstream from the Newton Falls dam. The only place I have found so far is Wayland rd. but that is not practical for me. The bank is steep, the current is swift, and my large sit on top kayak with all my fishing gear is too cumbersome to attempt entry there. Thank You in advance for any advice. See You On The Water, Scoot |

I wish you luck on that section. I did paddle that about 6 years ago. I put in by st rt 225. It was a land mine of trees and a really bad paddle.
