I'm Alan, the past President of this motley crew. Long time boater, kayaker and canoeist . Out of college, I was a teacher /Head FB coach before starting a long career with the Ohio Education Assn as a consultant for 22 years. Had 4 kids. Now retired, I've traveled coast to coast and made annual trips into Canada to fish, camp & sight see. Still like to travel and still love to kayak.

I have a son in the club and a grandson who also joins us for trips. With 7 grandkids( 6 boys & 1 girl), there is always something going on around my place as they all only live a couple of blocks from me in Cortland. Vacations have always been family affairs and its no different with grandkids as the annual trips continue to the beach/ocean.

I also ride a recumbent bike on the bike paths & at state parks.
