Blue Mountain Outfitters

I just returned from a trip to the East Coast via the Harrisburg area where I stopped at Blue Mountain Outfitters in Marysville, PA. The shop is chock-a-block with paddling gear. It's really worth a stop if you're anywhere in the area. They give a 10% discount for anyone who belongs to a padding club.

Are you going to surprise us by showing up at the next trip with a new canoe?

HAH! Buying a new boat did occur to me, but I think the Chrysler Newport has a few more years left in her....:-)

If BMO would have had some more Nova Craft canoes in stock that were made of TuffStuff, I would have been more tempted to buy. Most of the canoes in stock were some type of carbon fiber composite since Royalex is no longer available. Evidently TuffStuff was developed by Nova Craft for its own canoes. Check out the video of a 100 foot canoe drop of a canoe made of TuffStuff.

I have been looking at there stock online. Don't know much of new material. Thanks for the link.

Did you get a chance to get a hold of Matt?

Mike

Mike,
No, I have not been in contact with Matt. I will message him via the TCT website. Thanks for the reminder.
