google cameron county canoe kayak race. the race is west of clearfield but up in the mountains, where the elk live, it takes about 3 hrs for me get there I would think about the same for you because it takes me 45 minutes to get to route 80. It was the biggest race around they had about 200 boats.

Would host a club trip on the Grand, would recommend prior to May 30th or after September 15th due to unpredictable water levels. I have a 6 place trailer and live at the take out at Hidden Valley. Knowing how the club likes to eat, a cook out on my 15 x 20 deck after the paddle would be appreciated by more than a few. I am new to the club and unfamiliar with scheduling club events. Please feel free to call me at (440) 228-3261. Also would anyone else be interested in a club canoe camping trip, or possibly even a catch and release interclub fishing tournament?

New member, love the social aspect of the sport. Every Memorial Day weekend on Sunday, I host a wine & cheese trip on the Grand, usually takes a couple days to loose the smile. Would like to extend the envite to the club, if there isn't a group outing already planned. Would also like more info on dec5th paddle. I also live on the Grand in Madison at Hidden Valley Park, would assist any club member needing shuttle if I wasn't working.
